My Baby Navigator provides access to resources and tools that are customized for your baby’s age and grow as your baby grows to help monitor their development. You can join as soon as your baby is born or any time until your baby turns 24 months old. The earlier you join, the more resources you can be using as your baby is growing. From Lookbooks to Growth Charts, from Monthly Check-Ins to our Social Communication CheckUp, from Printables to Web Resources—all in one place that you can access online from anywhere anytime.
Social Communication Growth Charts
One of the most exciting things about being a parent is watching your baby grow and reach new milestones. Our Social Communication Growth Charts, or SoCo Growth Chart for short, is a new tool in My Baby Navigator that you can use to learn, explore, and chart your baby’s development from birth to 24 months.
• Learn about all the early social communication milestones and parenting strategies that support early development in short video tutorials that you select by age or by question.
• Explore video clips that show you how babies are learning new social communication milestones. With each milestone clip, watch a companion clip that tells you about the parenting strategies that support your baby’s learning in ordinary everyday activities.
• Chart your baby’s social communication milestones every 2 months starting at 3 months to monitor which milestones they’ve reached and which ones to look for next. Track your baby’s growth in 5 domains of development to get ready early for preschool. Celebrate these early critical milestones as you watch your baby grow.
Social Communication CheckUp
Our Social Communication CheckUp, or SoCo CheckUp for short, is a set of questions specially designed to help you and your baby’s doctor or teacher screen for social communication delays and autism. When you join My Baby Navigator, you’re invited to complete the SoCo CheckUp online, beginning when your baby is 9 months old, and again every 3 months until your child is 24 months old.
Learn the Early Signs
In My Baby Navigator you’ll learn how early signs of language delay and autism can impact your child’s development, what you can do about it, and how you can build your care team. If you see something that doesn’t seem quite right — like when your baby doesn’t look right at you or respond to their name, rarely uses gestures or sounds, or obsesses over a toy or is more interested in objects than people — our tools, courses, and resources can help guide you.
